New month = new goal.
But first, let’s recap…
- My big October goal was to record my observations and blog about them
- Did I record? Yes, I journal & make notes after each observation & each patient
- Did I blog about it? Not even once!
- Moving forward: After my first month of blogging and social media like Twitter, I can better see how much time I can dedicate to it with my current schedule, and it’s more realistic to aim for blogging my hours once a month, and highlighting all the new things I learned in one post instead of several. I’m very excited about this new approach!
“Action cures fear.” – David J. Schwartz, author of The Magic of Thinking Big
^^^ So true! I read that book a few years ago and it has remained one of my favorites ever since. It is my favorite book on self-improvement (better than the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, or How to Win Friends and Influence People, or Think and Grow Rich).
My November Goal: Focus on getting A’s.
How? I will probably post here just a couple more times this month because I will be spending a ton of time on studying. I have one more month left to try for A’s in my classes, because currently I have B’s in Physics 1 and Chem 2. But after doing the math, it’s still possible for A’s if I do really well from now on.
Why? Bringing up my GPA, especially my science GPA, will be a
big HUGE determining factor for me getting into PT school. [Will do a post on this soon]
I’m off to study like Hermione for my Chem test on Monday/TOMORROW.
[SIDENOTE] I have to have silence and love a cup of hot tea for studying. New fav tea is green tea with mint mmm…
Good luck to any other students closing in on Finals Week! And good luck to everyone working on big goals this month! We got this 🙂
